Where is all Began...

Bearden Productions Center for the ARTS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that got its beginnings as strictly an acting studio. Since its formation in 2006 by founder Legenia Bearden, BPPAS has reached over 3,500 students in the state of Arkansas through its after school classes, summer camps and theatrical performances. Our acting classes, stage productions, dance classes and kid's cooking classes gives interested youth in North Little Rock, Little Rock and surrounding areas an opportunity to experience the arts in a fun safe environment for little or no cost.

Why the Arts?

At Bearden Productions Center for the ARTS (BPCA), we believe in the power of the arts as it pertains to the development of children. Arts programming gives children a creative outlet that allows them to express themselves, solve problems, expand their social skills, as well as focus on an area of their brain that is not used as often in a structured academic setting. We offer a variety of hands on acting, dance and kids cooking classes where participation is encouraged and is essential for learning. All of our instructors are experienced and trained professionals in their fields of work.
Classes offered at BPPAS are made affordable so that EVERYONE can have access to quality arts programs. Our goal is to make sure children of all social & economic backgrounds have access to the arts without added strain or stress to their family income. That is why our tuition is just $45 and $55 per month with a $50 registration fee.
